Regulatory reporting - incidents
TCSP's are obliged to report incidents to the regulator. An incident is an act or event that can damage the public trust in the integrity of the financial markets. But what does that mean in your BAU? In this session we take a close look at the definition and examine what was intended with this obligation. We discuss examples and debate on whether they are true incidents, or mere mishaps or signals or indications. We also explore the reporting obligations more closely, the DNB good practices on this topic and the consequences of reporting or not reporting. At the end of the session you should feel more confident in your decision making with regards to labeling a signal into a true incident and you know what to do and what not to do.
