Trust Officers have a big responsibility. Total client handling requires legal, tax and accountancy expertise and knowledge. Moreover, more and more knowledge of risk & compliance, ethics & behaviour & culture is expected.
Therefore, a programme that covers all disciplines is a must. A master's degree allows you to get indepth knowledge of your own discipline and (further) development on other disciplines at a solid level.
In September 2023 the Master Course Trust Officer (also know as “MOTO”) of Holland Quaestor in collaboration with Law At Work shall start again.
The programme has now developed into a fully-fledged programme with experienced professors and lecturers from the field.
The Examination Board consists of several professors from different Universities in the Netherlands, which guarantees the high quality of the program.
Together with your fellow students you will work in this training to better explore the different themes and to increase your insight in relation to daily practice.
The programme responds to current events and developments affecting the Trust sector. The guidelines that Holland Quaestor has published over the past few years have been integrated into the material.
Six main themes accommodated in twenty modules of four hours each deal with the requirements that an authorized Trust Officer must meet. 70% of the modules are online, 30% take place in physical meetings.
Take into account an average of three hours preparation time per study meeting.
Exam. Finally, there is an exam (on a Saturday in Amsterdam), with written/multiple choice questions and an oral exam. This will be followed by the handing out of certificates for the participants who passed the exam. To participate in the exam, you are allowed to miss one session with a maximum of two. If you miss two sessions, we will look in consultation with the trainer for opportunities to make up the session online prior to the exam or afterwards in a future semester.
